This is how “female armour” should be done. It’s armour that gives proper protection, and it’s worn by a female who knows how to wear it to get that protection.. Here endeth the lesson.

I’d wear that.

Anonymous said: Have you ever thought about becoming a cosplay deviant?

Ha, I actually had to look that up, I’ve never heard of them!

Personally, I love feeling sexy, I love wearing cosplay, and if I can do that at the same time, then awesome! But when I see Cosplay Deviant’s website, all I can think of is when Ken Levine asked artists to stop drawing Elizabeth naked/ in fan-porn/ etc, because of all the work he put behind such a strong character, and didn’t want to see her degraded. So sadly, no, I would not be interested in being a Cosplay Deviant, though I respect those women who do do it.

Now, if you were asking me about Front Army, that’d be a different story…

"And this one—-"

NO

Protective clothing that actually protects is such a novel idea.

I featured the first three panels waaay back, but the broader context makes it even better!

I swear to god I will lose my mind if I hear the “sex sells” fallacy one more time. Sex does not sell. If sex sold, we would see penises where we see boobs. Naked men would be on everything that naked women are on. Sex isn’t what they’re selling you. They’re selling you an impossible, pornographically fueled misogynistic idea of the perfect woman.
